We are looking for an experienced, efficient, and enthusiastic Associate/Senior Associate to join us after another fantastic year across our real estate sectors. We are excited to share this rare, unique opportunity to join our close-knit Milton Keynes team and this is a fantastic role for someone looking for a chance to take the reins and make an impact.
You will be pivotal to the success of our growing Project Management service, leading a team and delivering a variety of commercial industrial refurbishments and ESG focussed projects, giving you the chance to step up and become a key player in our Midlands region.
We’re keen to hear from anyone able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision, who is hungry to grow this exciting and innovative service.
Main responsibilities:
- Leading the Project Management service from the Milton Keynes or Birmingham office and driving service offering forwards throughout the Midlands region
- Delivery of end-to-end project management instructions, specifically commercial industrial & logistics and other refurbishment work
- Working closely with the Midlands Leadership team to, specifically on our Development and Project Management service line, to spearhead new opportunity for business growth and success
- Line managing a team of Project Managers and/or surveyors in the Milton Keynes, Birmingham and Cambridge office
- Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, provide excellent client care and take a lead on business development opportunities (including client lunches, networking events, Hollis events and cross-selling Hollis services)
- Liaising with clients to take the brief Appointment design teams, procurement advice chairing design and progress meetings, leading post contract teams through delivery, advising clients on all matters relating to project development
- Winning business from new and existing clients, build and grow a network of potential contacts and actively work towards growing the service
Requirements:
- MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM
- Experience of running refurbishment projects up to £2million+ from conception up to completion
- Experienced within commercial real estate, ideally in the industrial & logistics and office sectors
- Previous experience line managing a team, mentoring junior surveyors/PM's
- Good understanding of relationship management and business development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong report writing capabilities
- Proven experience of project delivery from conception through to completion, including financials, managing contractors, client care, specifications etc.
