AI Specialist/AI Developer
Hollis is building the next generation of intelligent, data‑driven services—and we’re looking for an experienced AI Specialist & Developer to play a pivotal role in that journey.
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI capabilities across the business, including the creation of a proprietary Hollis Copilot. This intelligent platform will learn from our property and consultancy data, adapt to real‑world workflows, and significantly enhance productivity across our teams.
You’ll bring deep technical expertise in large language models (LLMs), Microsoft AI technologies, data engineering, and solution architecture, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant AI solutions that create real business value.
AI & Large Language Model Development
Design, build, fine‑tune, and optimise LLM‑powered solutions, including custom models and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) frameworks.
Architect and develop a scalable Hollis Copilot integrated with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 Document Management, and internal datasets.
Build conversational AI agents with self‑training capabilities and automated reinforcement loops using property and consultancy data.
Data Engineering & AI Training Pipelines
Collaborate with our in‑house data team to engineer robust pipelines that ingest, cleanse, classify, and index structured and unstructured data.
Implement secure embeddings, vector stores, and knowledge graphs to support intelligent contextual search.
Develop automated feedback and telemetry loops to enable continuous model improvement.
Microsoft Copilot & Cloud Integration
Architect and deploy AI workloads on Microsoft Azure, including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, Fabric, and Copilot extensions.
Integrate AI capabilities into Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and custom web applications.
Develop plugins and extensions that enhance Microsoft Copilot with Hollis‑specific functionality.
Solution Design & Architecture
Partner with the CTO, COO, and Innovation teams to translate business challenges into AI‑enabled solutions.
Produce architectural designs, prototypes, proof‑of‑concepts, and technical documentation.
Ensure all solutions meet high standards of security, professional compliance (including RICS and GDPR), and responsible AI governance.
Innovation & Delivery
Lead the technical delivery of AI pilots and full‑scale deployments alongside the transformation team.
Work closely with service heads, surveyors, product owners, and data teams to identify high‑impact AI use cases.
Contribute to Hollis’ long‑term AI and digital innovation roadmap, including bespoke AI agents that automate and optimise business processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
Expert knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, and RAG systems.
Strong hands‑on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search, Azure Machine Learning, and related services.
Experience building Copilot extensions, Copilot Studio solutions, or custom copilots.
Proficiency in Python, C#, or similar languages for AI integration and development.
Experience with vector databases, embeddings pipelines, and similarity search.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, data governance, and secure enterprise AI patterns.
Experience with modern software engineering practices, including APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
Desirable Experience
Familiarity with property or real‑estate data, or AI applications in asset‑rich industries.
Experience with knowledge graph technologies.
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or data lake architectures.
Background in machine learning research or applied ML within enterprise environments.
Key Competencies
A strong innovation mindset with the ability to turn ideas into practical, scalable solutions.
Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
A problem‑solving approach focused on efficiency, scalability, and measurable business impact.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.
A clear commitment to responsible AI, ethics, and compliance.
