Chartered Building Surveyor / Project Manager
We're looking for a talented Chartered Building Surveyor or Project Manager to join our Bristol team. This role, offers the chance to work across a broad range of instructions (depending on pathway experience) including project management, dilapidations, tenant alterations and professional surveying, while learning from some of the industry's most respected experts. The role combines technical delivery, client-facing responsibility and the opportunity to develop your own specialisms as your career progresses.

The Role
This role offers an excellent mix of professional and project-based building surveying work across a varied commercial property portfolio.
You'll work closely with clients, colleagues and project teams to deliver practical advice, manage projects and solve complex property challenges, while developing long-term relationships with leading investors, developers, landlords and occupiers.
The position would suit a Chartered Building Surveyor or Project Manager (or an experienced APC level Building Surveyor or Project Manager) who enjoys genuine variety, autonomy and career development.
Responsibilities
· Deliver a broad range of building surveying instructions across commercial property portfolios (if pathway experience suits).
· Take a lead on or support refurbishment, fit-out and improvement projects within a lucrative client portfolio
· Undertake and advise on dilapidations matters for both landlords and tenants (if pathway experience suits).
· Support junior team members such as graduates & apprentices to assist their engagement and development
· Support technical due diligence commissions and acquisition surveys (if pathway experience suits)..
· Provide advice on defects, planned maintenance and wider building pathology instructions (if pathway experience suits).Act as (or develop as) a project lead: managing instructions, client engagement and relationships, job related financials (fee proposals, invoicing, pipeline) and a point of contact across the South West region.
· Learn to build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery and business development opportunities
· Work collaboratively with colleagues across surveying, engineering, project management and other specialist disciplines.
About You
· MRICS qualified or 6 months out from sitting APC
· Experienced working across various commercial real estate sectors such as office, retail, industrial, leisure with other sectors such as residential beneficial
· Experienced working on instructions such as dilapidations, project delivery, tenant alterations and technical due diligence (if Building Surveying Pathway).
· Comfortable engaging with clients and taking ownership of instructions
· Collaborative, adaptable and keen to learn
· Motivated by continuous professional development as part of a growing team.
